How I work
“I take the time to really understand my client’s needs, focusing on their objectives and taking a pragmatic approach to achieve the best results. Given the sensitivity of the issues in dispute, it is always satisfying to support my clients through the whole process.”
Successfully argued following a contested fact finding hearing that historic allegations against a client cannot outweigh the current nature of their relationship with the child when looking at the progression of contact.
Negotiated on behalf of a client in respect of the separation of financial assets on divorce and successfully agreed a consent order to settle the matter without the need to proceed with a costly and contested final hearing.
Advised on guardianship options where the children could no longer be cared for by their parents and successfully acted to secure their placement with family members under a Special Guardianship Order, rather than being placed outside the family, with on going financial assistance and support from social services.
“We would like to thank you for the professionalism that you have demonstrated to us…. your guidance, support and advice was on the money…We would recommend you without hesitation to anyone needing advice and support in any family dispute.”
“I just wanted to say thank you very very much for all your help!! It has been a very traumatic time for me but I felt supported by you and all the help and advice you’ve given me :)”
“I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent sympathetic and professional help and advice you gave me during what was a very stressful time.”
