Collins & Hoy are one of the sponsors of Only Mums and Only Dads’ new ‘What About Aruna’ video series officially launching today, 19th July.
The videos have been specifically created By Only Mums and Only Dads with help from Child Clinical Psychologist Dr Angharad Rudkin to examine the impact of conflict and parental separation on children.
From today the new What About Aruna videos are free to watch via YouTube or via either Only Mums or Only Dads websites.
These films will form a key part of the Parent Promise HR package due to launch later this year but in the meantime they will all be shared across Only Mums and Only Dads’ extensive professional networks.
This not only includes sponsors like us but a long list of professional advisers, parenting organisations and those who specialise in working with families during their most difficult times.
It is a cause that Collins & Hoy are extremely pleased to support as joint managing partner Bernadette Hoy explains:
“We jumped at the opportunity to support the ‘What About Aruna’ series as soon as the content of these four very unique films was set out for us by Only Mums and Dads. The impact of family breakdown on children is something that we see all too often. For us, the films are a must watch for anyone going through or involved in a separation. We are delighted to partner with and support Only Mums and Dads and their quest to provide free and invaluable resources to parents.”
Bernadette’s joint managing partner Aisling Collins agrees:
“The long and short term effects that the disruption and conflict children feel during the separation of their parents can sometimes be unintentionally overlooked by their parents while they are consumed with trying to navigate their way through their separation. This can be hugely damaging. This is why we immediately agreed to sponsor the ‘What About Aruna’ project’.”
Everyone in our family team would like to thank Rebecca and Bob at Only Mums and Dads for the opportunity to help get this amazing initiative off the ground and to Dr Angharad Rudkin for her invaluable input. We are eagerly waiting to learn how well received this will be but if you would like to keep track with progress, you can do so on Twitter by following @OnlyMums and @OnlyDads.
