We are thrilled to announce that Aatikah Malik has commenced her training contract with Collins & Hoy. Aatikah joined the firm in August 2023 as a Paralegal, and we are excited to see her transition into the role of Trainee Solicitor.
During her time as a Paralegal, Aatikah gained invaluable experience across a variety of cases in our Family Department, particularly dealing with financial settlements and child arrangements. She has developed a keen interest in working on complex children cases, including those involving alienating behaviours, intricate financial matters with complex assets, and issues of non-disclosure.
Aatikah has also worked in our Property Department, assisting with both residential and commercial conveyancing cases, as well as in our Private Client Department, handling Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate administration. This has given her a well-rounded understanding of the broad range of services offered at Collins & Hoy.
Since joining the firm, Aatikah has demonstrated great dedication and enthusiasm. Aatikah will continue to develop her experience across all departments during her training contact. She looks forward to taking on more responsibility and continuing to grow in her career, particularly in the areas of dispute resolution, financial remedies, divorce, and children matters.
Bernadette Hoy, Joint Head of Family, says: “We are incredibly proud of Aatikah’s progress and look forward to her continued success at Collins & Hoy.”
Aatikah is a valued member of our team, and we are excited to support her as she moves forward on her path to qualification.
