Collins & Hoy are ready to take part in this year’s London Legal Walk

The London Legal Walk has established itself as a firm and eagerly awaited fixture in the legal calendar.  The next London Legal walk will be on Monday 18th and, for the first time in our new firm’s short history, a Collins & Hoy team will take part.

For obvious reasons we weren’t able to enter during our first year of trading in 2020.  This meant that as soon as the opportunity came up Aisling, Bernadette, Kate, Jeremy, Andaleeb, Deniece, Dionne, Belinda, Sally and Michelle immediately signed up to tackle the usual 10k route through central London alongside the other 400 teams who have registered so far.

If you haven’t heard of the London Legal Walk, it is an annual event run by the London Legal Support Trust.

The walk was launched to help raise funds to support the Trust’s primary objective, to provide people with greater access to justice.  The money the participants raise is used to support over 100 organisations in London and the South East as they look to provide more free and pro-bono legal advice.

One of the reasons the London Legal Walk is so popular is the now famous street party in Carey Street that marks the end of the walk.  This provides walkers with an opportunity to mingle (all at the required social distances) and mark their achievements together whilst enjoying the company of street food vendors, fire jugglers and musicians not to mention a drink or two at the Knights Templar or Law Society bars.

If you’d like to join us and enter a team of colleagues, friends or family or just enter yourself to walk solo, you can access the joining instructions here.

Or, if you’d like to make a donation to Team Collins & Hoy and play your own part in making justice more accessible for the people of London and the South East you can do so via our Virgin Money Giving page.
